Hello, I am Ramazan Izci. I am a third-year computer engineering student at Ondokuz Mayis University. I am interested in software, data science, and AI, and I focus on improving myself and building real projects in these areas.
My software journey started in high school. Back then, I used programming mostly to make my own life easier. I built small tools to automate repetitive daily tasks. That approach taught me that software is not only a hobby but a real problem-solving tool.
In university, my focus shifted to larger projects that reach wider audiences. My most important work today, sinavizcisi.com, is an education platform that provides data-driven analysis and AI-powered insights for student preferences and exams. It grew rapidly with 100,000+ page views in its first two months.
Today I use software not only to simplify my own work, but to build solutions that help thousands of people. My long-term goal is to create innovative and effective projects, especially in education technology and AI.
What I am focused on now
My main focus is to grow Sinavizcisi into a comprehensive education platform not only for students, but also for teachers, educators, and coaches, with much deeper AI integration. Growing Sinavizcisi using its own ad revenue is both a motivating and exciting goal for me. In parallel, I continue to sharpen my skills in data science and AI.
Skills
I keep learning new things and turn them into projects that work in the real world. My core focus is Python and data.
I have been working with Python for a long time and feel confident in it. I am experienced in object-oriented and asynchronous programming and have built projects using many libraries in the Python ecosystem. Thanks to Python's versatility, I can build projects in data analysis, web scraping, web development, desktop apps, and AI. On the modeling side, I have experience with regression and clustering models such as XGBoost and K-Means.
The main tools I use include Requests, Aiohttp, Asyncio, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Playwright, Django, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, and NumPy. In web scraping, I have hands-on experience with bot-protected sites, login and cookie handling, bulk data collection, and proxy rotation.
While I used Flask and FastAPI for simple APIs in the past, I gained advanced experience with Django on larger projects. For example, I designed the entire database architecture for sinavizcisi.com in PostgreSQL, handled optimizations and background operations, and gained strong experience with large-scale data. I also use SQLite for fast and practical solutions in small to medium projects.
Even though I do not consider myself a UI expert, I produced effective, user-focused interfaces for sinavizcisi.com and this portfolio using a mix of my own knowledge, AI-assisted tools, and ready-made designs.
I also used open-source AI models like BERT and LLaMA for sentiment analysis and text classification of university reviews on sinavizcisi.com. With NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, I built systems that can understand text and produce sentiment and category outputs.
In addition, I worked with the C and Ruby languages as part of university courses. While I did not focus deeply on them, I gained basic practical experience.
